A first look inside Amazon's new grocery chain.

Bloomberg published the first pictures of the interior of Amazon's new large grocery store — the first of a chain — based in a strip mall in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles.

The main takeaway: This 33,000-square-foot space is not obviously packed with tech. There is no cashierless system, but there are a lot of normal supermarket features, like meat and seafood counters. Still, there do appear to be some Amazonian flourishes, such as digital shelf tags — and a very, very large package pickup facility.
