France has accused the company of breaching antitrust law with its supplier agreements, fining Apple €1.1 billion (around $1.2 billion), and its wholesalers Tech Data and Ingram Micro €76.1 million (around $85 million) and €63 million (around $70.3 million), respectively.
The penalty is the largest single fine issued by the authority. Apple told CNBC that it plans to appeal.
