Amazon announced on Friday that it is hiring 75,000 people in its fulfillment centers across the U.S. and Canada. The company also mentioned pay increases, with an average starting at $17 per hour, sign-on bonuses of up to $1,000 and an additional $100 bonus for new hires who come to Amazon already vaccinated for COVID-19.
