The battle over the App Store could go to trial next summer, as Judge Yvonne Gonzalez Rogers told the companies that they were "looking at a July trial date."
The companies faced off in a hearing this morning on the antitrust case and whether Fortnite will remain banned from Apple's App Store. While Gonzalez Rogers hasn't issued her judgment yet on the fate of the app, the parties did discuss when it could proceed to trial, and Gonzalez Rogers urged the parties to consider having a jury trial since appellate courts tend to favor jury decisions when they're appealed. "I know I'm just a stepping stone for all of you," she said.
