Almost immediately after Elon Musk made his first appearance on SNL Saturday night, Robinhood was forced to pause all crypto trading order updates.
"We are aware that customers may be seeing crypto orders display as 'pending' for an extended period of time. We are experiencing a delay in order status updates and will provide an update here when the issue is resolved," the company wrote on Twitter. "We're currently experiencing issues with crypto trading. We're working to resolve this as soon as possible," the company wrote a few minutes later.

Robinhood has had to suspend trading for volatile and popular products in the past, including Gamestop and AMC during Gamestop's retail-trade driven rise. It had said ahead of Musk's appearance that it would be "all paws on deck, all weekend."
Early Sunday morning Eastern Time, Robinhood tweeted that the issues around crypto trading "had been resolved."
