Facebook is digging deeper into the live audio business with an "Audio" center that'll house all of the company's audio tools, including podcasts, Live Audio Rooms and short-form audio.
Users can get into the hub through Facebook's video feature, Watch, and it'll be available on the company's mobile app in the United States. The company is personalizing the audio platform to users' tastes and interests as they engage with podcasts and other content over time.
Companies have been testing out new audio tools in recent months, from Twitter Spaces to Amazon's quiet entry into the business. Facebook's new hub brings together all of the live-audio features it created so far this year: Live Audio Rooms, a short-form audio tool called Soundbites and additional podcast support.
