Meta is rolling out a new Professional Mode for Facebook profiles in the U.S., giving creators more ways to monetize their content, the company announced in a blog post Wednesday.
Professional Mode includes features like a new bonus program, where creators can make as much as $35,000 a month from their Reels, and offers analytics on shares, reactions and comments so that creators can measure engagement.
The feature is part of a wave of new changes Meta is making to support creators across all of its properties.
On Tuesday, Meta announced changes to its Facebook Stars feature, which offers a way for viewers to reward creators on live videos. Facebook plans to test Stars with videos on the News Feed, the Watch feed and in the gaming tab as well.
There's also a Stars store, where users can buy Stars directly from Facebook versus going through the App Store. Earlier this year, the company announced custom links that creators could use to sign up subscribers instead of going through Apple's in-app subscription.
