Foreign nationals will need to prove they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to enter the U.S. beginning in November, the head of the White House's virus response announced on Monday.
Travelers entering the U.S. will also need to show a negative test from within the past three days, per the official, Jeff Zients. The CDC will be putting in place requirements for the collection of travelers' phone numbers and emails for contact tracing.
The move is an easing of restrictions, which previously banned travelers altogether in some cases.
