Users of two of Microsoft's most important products — Microsoft Office and Teams — were unable to access their accounts for several hours Monday afternoon following a configuration change to Azure Active Directory that went awry.
The outage also affected Azure and Dynamics 365 users who rely on AAD, a cloud service that lets companies verify how their users can access corporate resources. Around 2:15 p.m. PT Microsoft said it was rolling out a fix that was expected to take hold over the next hour.
