The NYSE originally announced plans to delist China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom last week, before abruptly changing course on Monday. It's now changed its mind again, saying that the companies will be delisted after all.
The latest move comes after Treasury Secretary Mnuchin reportedly called NYSE president Stacey Cunningham to express displeasure at the delisting being scrapped. The entire process was instigated by an executive order from President Trump last year.
