Aparna Chennapragada, a longtime Google executive and Capital One board member, is joining the trading platform to lead its product development and design teams.
Chennapragada spent the last 12 years at Google, where she was vice president for consumer shopping. She was also the lead for AR and visual search products.
"When I met Aparna, I was immediately struck by her passion for our product and delivering exceptional value to our customers," Robinhood CEO and co-founder Vlad Tenev said in a blog post.
