ServiceNow has poached Jon Sigler, former executive vice president at Salesforce, to help lead product development for its signature platform offering, the company plans to announce later on Tuesday.
Salesforce and ServiceNow are growing increasingly competitive as both vendors rush to try to arm enterprises with new software to manage an increasingly hybrid workforce. ServiceNow even halted use of Slack after Salesforce purchased it.
Sigler, who previously worked at Apple and Microsoft, helped to lead Work.com, Salesforce's own employee experience system. He'll now be tasked with "developing innovative products to further differentiate ServiceNow's Now Platform," according to the release.
