Tableau CEO Mark Nelson recently elevated three engineering executives to the leadership team, Protocol has learned, in a move that insiders say will split his former role among the new trio of lieutenants.
Prior to assuming the top spot after former CEO Adam Selipsky left to run AWS in March, Nelson was the executive vice president of product development. To fill his previous position, Nelson tapped Kedar Doshi, Kate Wright and Jim Joudrey, who were all promoted in the recent shake-up to the organizational chart, the company confirmed.
"We are evolving our organizational structure to more closely align our development team with our strategic priorities and product focus," a spokesperson said in an emailed statement.
