TikTok is letting users make much longer videos. The platform is rolling out the ability for users to create 10-minute-long videos, a TikTok spokesperson confirmed Monday.
"Today, we're excited to start rolling out the ability to upload videos that are up to 10 minutes, which we hope would unleash even more creative possibilities for our creators around the world," a TikTok spokesperson told Protocol.
The platform has slowly bumped up the maximum amount of time for a video from 15 seconds to 60 seconds to three minutes. By comparison, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels are at most 60 seconds long. But the option to post longer much videos is still there on Instagram TV and YouTube in general.
