From the publisher of POLITICO, Protocol is a new media company focused on the people, power, and politics of the technology industry. Protocol will equip decision-makers and innovators in tech, legacy businesses, and public policy with the reporting and insights they need to navigate a world in rapid change.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience designing and art directing for a digital publication, and will be skilled at identifying innovative approaches to visual storytelling. As the first member of Protocol's design staff, you'll be energized by the idea of working with a small, collaborative team to create high-impact stories, and you'll be a self-starter capable of juggling long- and short-term projects.
The art director will:
- Direct the design of Protocol's web pages, newsletters, and other materials.
- Commission original illustrations and photography.
- Work with editors to create data visualizations.
