Workplace Reporter: Training and Reskilling

The Role:

Protocol is seeking a reporter who can break news and tell original, inside stories about the future of training and reskilling in the workplace.

What You'll Need:

We're not looking for reporters to summarize what others have already reported; we're looking for reporters who can consistently break news that other reporters have to follow. Our ideal candidates are smart, well-sourced and have a knack for finding out what's happening and explaining what it means and why it matters to a savvy and knowledgeable audience.

The strongest candidates will be able to cut through the hype of how trends such as automation and remote work are affecting workers in order to help managers understand what skills they really need to equip their employees with. They will also understand the changes in society that increasingly need to be reflected in the workplace training at much-scrutinized tech companies, and they will be excited at the prospect of working out which companies are at the cutting edge of delivering education and training.

Location: We prefer candidates in the San Francisco, New York and Washington, D.C. areas but are open to other locations as well.
