Dobrik uploaded a two-and-a-half-minute video titled "Let's Talk" to his podcast's YouTube channel on March 16 to address controversy.
He left the company he founded around the same time Spark Capital announced it was severing all ties with the company.
Business Insider reported last week on allegations against Dobrik's Vlog Squad, including sexual assault. Spark said that "we have stepped down from our position on the board and we are in the process of making arrangements to ensure we do not profit from our recent investment in Dispo."
Dispo was one of the hottest apps in social, valued at $200 million thanks to investments from VCs such as Spark and Alexis Ohanian's Seven Seven Six.
