Facebook may 'restrict the circulation of content' if the US election is chaotic

Nick Clegg, Facebook's head of global affairs, told the Financial Times that "there are some break-glass options available to us if there really is an extremely chaotic and, worse still, violent set of circumstances" around the election.

He did not elaborate on what exactly those circumstances might look like, or what restrictions might be put in place.
