Emma Johanningsmeier ( @emma_jmeier) is a former reporter for Protocol based in San Francisco interested in decentralization, the politics of the internet, and young people in Silicon Valley. Previously, she reported on Stanford University as editor of The Fountain Hopper, a newsletter-based investigative publication.
